Project#3: CARPET INSTALLED!!!!!

Okay so after weeks of waiting my carpet is in YAY! So of our list below and in the previous post they only things not completed are number 3&4.

1. Finish Zoe's room
2. Start and finish Zayden's room
3. Paint the kids bathroom and decorate (ocean/fish theme)
4. Paint the downstairs hall
5. Carpet installed "I AM SO EXCITED"

We are so worn out and so we decided after mutual talking that we would do the kids bathroom the month of June maybe July who knows but it will get done soon. And as for the hall we have painted half of it and that is the next project which will be (hopefully) the end of this month. Spud said he is taking a vacation for two weeks, but he still has to plant his vegetables and cut grass, so his vacation is only from inside remodeling. Thank you Spud for all your late nights and for finishing the most important projects (our kids room's). THANK YOU Pk and Rosie for all your help and late nights we really appreciate it. And now the moment you all have been waiting for.....

PROJECT #2: Zayden's room!

Well I failed to take before pictures, it was worse off then Zoe'a room. So here is the spill....on Sunday Spud and Pk sheet rocked one wall they had to let it dry then Spud filed in all the holes and had to re texture the walls. Last night Pk came to help Spud paint because carpet is on Friday so they got the blue done then Spud spilled the brown all over the floor so me, Rosie, Pk, and Spud started rolling the paint off the floor to the walls. Needless to say it was a long night. So her are a few pictures.

We do have to paint all the moldings white and the part on the wall/ceiling. Then we will be done with his room.

Our first wind storm!

Provo just had a huge wind storm that blew my garden decorations around. So while I was out grabbing them to put in the garage Zoe looked out side. The shingles off my roof were blowing off (because they were not sealed right). Zoe was crying and shaking because she was afraid the how was going to blow down. I felt so bad for her. Now I have to call the insurance to make a claim or Spud will have another project to do.

Okay so Thanks to Pk for helping last night the bead board is hung. Tonight will be caulking and painting the base boards, trim, bead board, and doors. ALMOST THERE!

ZOE'S NEW ROOM

These pictures are the before, I left out the closet ones because there is really nothing to see, So the bedroom is white with no carpet. Spud took off all the baseboards because he is putting up bead board tonight. Her room has a lot of light which is nice and is right next to Zayden's room. She can't wait to move downstairs.

Theses pictures show the painting process. Spud and Zoe did most of it, and yes that is the baby bump at 26 weeks (6mo.) And the last picture is Zoe showing off. So tomorrow I will post the pictures with the bead board and then we wait for carpet on May 6th.

Planter Boxes!

Today Spud and I took Zoe and my sister Rosie and her son Karson to Home Depot to the kids craft thing. Today since it's supposed to be spring they made planter boxes. After they were finished we took them to the garden center and they picked out flowers for their boxes. Karson wanted red flowers and Zoe wanted yellow and black ones. We came home and put weed guard in the bottom of the box with garden soil and then planted the flowers. Such proud kids!

To top off the day we went to my parents birthday BBQ and I made Oreo cupcakes they were so good!

Fairy Tea Party!

Oh how I love spending time with my little girl. As most of you know Zoe is not a girlie girl, so when she dresses up it truly is special for me. On Friday March 04, 2011 Zoe and I attended the fairy tea party at the Provo City Library.

BOY! So here we are the Beckstrom trio is about to add a 4th addition and yes it's a boy. We are very excited and can't The name we have chosen is Zayden Wallace (after my late grandpa). Anywho we are excited.

Christmas 2010

This year marks our first Christmas in our new home. We are so thankful for our home and for our family.

As many of you know our little Zoe is just amazing, she is in preschool and doing so good. She is very excited for her new baby to join our family. She is the biggest helper any mom could ask for. She loves to dance, sing, and pretty much anything that requires movement. When we ask her who's girl she is she replies I am all your girl. We are so blessed to have her in our family.

Spud is still working for Woody's and he loves it this May he will be there for 3 years. He works hard everyday and we love him for it.

I have been working full time for a plasma donation center as a Phlebotomist. I stay busy with being a mom, wife, and keeping up the house. I can't wait for Dec. 17 so I can find out more about this pregnancy. I have had major issues and went to the doctor to find out what was going on and she told me I was pregnant. We are so happy that God is blessing us once again. I will keep you all posted.

Thanksgiving!

I am so very grateful for ll the Lord has blessed my family with. This year has brought us so much, a happy healthy family, a new job for me, a secure job for Spud, a new house, and most of all a happy little girl who loves life. This month has really made me think about The sacrifice Jesus made for all of us and how we forget to give him all the glory in the ups and downs of our lives. I hope this month encourages you all to remember Jesus and be thankful for his sacrifice and the lives that he has given us.

Pumpkinland

So every year we take Zoe to Vineyard Nursery where they host Pumpkinland. Not only do they have the best home grown vegetables but the nicest pumpkins(I did not do garden this year because of the move). Anyways every year farmer Dan makes a corn maze with little riddles, and fun little things. Once you find your way out, (Zoe took us to one dead end and then found her way right out), you then are taken to the petting zoo and a bunch of fort looking things, then to the bounce houses, after that you go through a dark room with tons of halloween lights. After all the excitement you head back to the pumpkin patch and can choose any pumpkin you want. So we got our pumpkins and I bought some fresh tomatoes to.

We had a blast and then today we finlly put up all the halloween decorations and hung out with the family it was a fun weekend.

Hello everyone it has been awhile. Okay so where to start, I have officially graduated from college as valedictorian, Zoe will be three this October wow how time flies, and the biggest news is that Spud and I are buying our first home this month we close on Aug. 20 so please pray for that. Other then crazy busy schedules and an awesome vacation we are doing good. We just returned from our 10 day road trip to California where we camped on San Clemente beach for 5 days and enjoyed siting on the beach and watching the dolphins, yes we even boogie boarded which was so fun. We took Zoe to Disneyland and had a blast, my mother-in-law goes so much that she had it down to the second and we did not wait more then 10 to 20 min for a ride although we did wait 35 min for Zoe to meet the fairy's from Tinkerbell oh and Tinkerbell her self. After that we headed up to Big Bear Lake, CA where we spent the rest of our trip with my mom and step dad. We relaxed shopped and ate good home cooked food. I don't care who you nobody can cook like mama. Zoe also received another name from my step dad he calls her George as in curious George because she gets into everything so at one point she would scream "MY NAME IS GEORGE MY MOMMY GAVE ME THE WRONG NAME". We are now home and have a little less then 3 weeks before moving day. I will post pic's soon. Love you all and God Bless.

This trip we found out that Zoe has broken her leg and will be casted on Tues. morning right now she is in a hard splint so please just pray for her pain to go away and that she will be at ease with not being able to move until Tues.

Potty Training Success!

Day one and a half of potty training boot camp has been a success leaving us with only 4 accidents the whole day. Better luck tomorrow! Zoe has definitely been a champ and we are very proud of her. I just can't wait for the end (which by the looks of it will be soon).

Wow so I can't believe that it is already March and yet so many birthday, here is the list of people who have march birthdays.......
Spud, his mom, and his sister share the same day, my sister, step-mom, brother, and my dad.
That's kind of like June for us.....
Our 5 year anniversary is on the 3rd, my nephew turns 13, I turn 27, my niece and other nephew turn 4, and I graduate on the 24th. WOW!
So you can see we have quite the birthdays. I am so excited Spud's family does a beach trip every year to California and this year just his Grandma and her kids will be having a reunion that same weekend so Spud's sister and brother and their families from Montana will be there and all of Spud's 10 siblings, and to top it off we will all be going to Disneyland YEAH! Zoe has never been so it will be fun and you can't beat free Disneyland tickets(go to disneyland.com and click on the give a day get a day) we are all very excited and are looking forward to this summer for lot's of camping, and family fun.

Zoe's Surgery!

So as many of you know Zoe had to have tubes put in both ears earlier today, oh and have a small part of a baby wipe removed from her right nostril. FUN! Anyways she was given Verstead to calm her down before she went back and had the mask put on. While waiting for them to come take her Spud, my dad, and I had a pretty good laugh watching Zoe, see for yourself.....

HAHAHAHAHA it's enough to make you want to watch it over and over.

After her surgery she went back to her hyper self, getting into everything and trying to help, this video explains it all.....

Anyways on a serious note Zoe is free of the baby wipe HAHAHAHA and her ears seem to be good. Of course she would never let us know otherwise because she is a trooper. I love my baby so much and I am glad that she did good and that hopefully we will not have any more ear problems. Thanks for all the prayers.

MY NEW HOUSE!!!!!

I am so excited to be in my new house. Zoe loves her room very much, mine is still a mess, my kitchen is 90% done and my living room still has boxes, oh yeah the bathroom is almost there. With that said I can't wait for it all to be done so we can post pictures and let you see them.

English muffins, ragu pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and your choice of toppings:
cut the English muffins in half and spread pizza sauce on them, top with cheese and other toppings of your choice(Zoe loves to have the olives on top of the pepperonis) bake on 350 degrees until the cheese is melted and the muffin is crispy. Fast, easy and good, Zoe loves to help with these, can't you tell.

So we just found out on Sunday that our friends are selling their house. I about died I just got my house unpacked and put away, and now I have to pack it all back up. Anyways we found a cute 2 bedroom house in Provo that is about 3 blocks away from Spuds work. It is perfect Zoe loves that it has a fenced in back yard for her to run around in, and my sister is moving a block away so it will be nice. Ringing in the New Year!

I know, I know I said I would post pictures but I have not got there yet. Anyways nothing much has changed, Zoe is getting bigger she is 2 going on 10. Spud still works very hard every day(thank you baby I love you and all you do for Zoe and I). I am still going to school but I finish classes in April and GRADUATE in June. I am so excited you have know idea. Well I am keeping it short so until next time.

First Snowman

Zoe was so excited that it was snowing yesterday she asked us over and over if she could play in the snow. We told her that when mom gets home we will build a snowman. Let's just say she did not forget, when I walked in the door she was dressed and ready to build. So the adventure of building/playing in the snow for the first time began, first she slipped in the snow and started to cry, then I fell and she started to cry, then daddy fell and yes she started to cry, I am so glad my baby girl is so concerned with her daddy and I falling. We then start construction on building the snowman, after we finish we dig through snow to find stuff for the arms and face, finally we just used weeds.

Then Zoe sees the neighbor girls making snow angels so she falls over and makes the most beautiful angel I have ever seen(look closely).

So we decide that it's time to go in because we are all freezing and that's when the crying begins, it took us at least 30 min to calm her down and explain that it is to cold. The sad thing is when we woke up today all our hard work fell over during the night and now Zoe wants to go out there and fix it.

We are so blessed to have this move we are saving so much money. Anyways with school and fixing my car and the move we have been so crazy so I figured I would update you all. Happy 2nd Birthday Zoe!

As many of you know Friday the 23 of October my precious baby turned 2. WOW! What a day it was full of excitement, and tears. We started our day off by waking Zoe up and singing the traditional Happy Birthday song and then I took her downstairs while Spud moved her new kitchen set over to her room (putting that thing together was ridiculous). Spud called for zoe to come upstairs and this is what happened....

We stayed up there forever. She loved it. After that we went to Thanksgiving point to the farm and she got to see all the animals and ride a pony....

For the rest of the day we just hung out shopping playing and when my mom called Zoe opened her present from them which she loved (mom I will email those ones to you). Zoe's party was the following day at 3pm it was supposed to be out side but Utah weather took over and I fit 35 to 40 people in my little house...

We took Zoe to Toys r us to spend the money my mom and step dad gave her. Looking back on her music video I will give you one guess as to what she bought...

Yes a microphone. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL, I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Well hello! It has been awhile, first things first, my friends Hillary and Rand had a baby girl on Aug. 20 and she is early, a little over 4lbs. so if you all could be praying for a healthy, happy, and fast recovery for them that would be great. In other news I only have 8 months until I am done with school and I will walk in June, I will post the date as soon as I know. Spud is doing good, working hard at work and taking care of Zoe for me at night so I can go to school, a little daddy-daughter boding. And of course you all are probably wandering about Zoe, don't worry I did not forget. Zoe Marie will be turning 2 in Oct, WOW how time flies, she talks like it's going out of style. Her hair is getting long and curly, she just keeps getting more beautiful. My favorite thing that she is doing, well everything is my favorite, but this one thing is my most favorite. Every time with out fail, if we drive by our church offices or the school we meet at on Sunday she gets all excited and says, Max, Jack, Max, Jack. These two boys belong to two of the pastors at church and she loves them. Jack will be 3 in December and Max will be 2 in September, so they are all pretty close in age. ER visit number 2!

Tuesday was quite the adventure for us. We started off the evening by taking dinner to one of our Pastor's family because of surgeries and illnesses. We had a awesome time talking and just spending time with them. I was in helping do dishes and Spud was still eating when Zoe climbed up on the kitchen chair and lost balance falling and smacking her head on the corner of the chair. She started to scream and Spud picked her up noticing that her head was bleeding, so we had our friends daughter look at it and she sent us to the ER. After waiting for an hour we were finally taken back and Zoe ended up with two staples in the back of her head. She is completely one hundred percent back to normal, in fact when we left our friends to go to the ER Zoe had turned back into Zoe. The worst part for her was being held down by daddy and Staff. So we have experienced our second ER visit and hope there will be no more to follow, knock on wood!

Gardner Village

Today we went with my sister-in-law to Gardner Village. I have never been and so it was such a blast. First we ate at Archibald's and then we shopped finding that I wanted everything there, while we were there they were setting up for their beach party on Saturday, so we of course we took pictures.

Eventful Weekend

wow! We had an eventful weekend, It all started off with Thursday my nephew Mitchell and his best friend Luis graduated from the 6th grade and are off to junior high this fall. On Friday Zoe spent the day in her pool (wading pool that is) while I sunbathed my legs. Friday night Spud took me out for our 4 year anniversary dinner to Applebees, yum my favorite. Saturday at 6:30 am spud took Zoe and I fishing and he even bought me a metallic pink fishing pool and Zoe a little camping chair, we spent the morning trying to get a bit and of course nothing. Zoe did lather herself in sunblock and butt cream, which was not funny, okay maybe just a little bit. We came home and put Zoe down for a nap only to return fishing with my two nephews Hughey and Mitchell and again no bit. Mitchell did catch a albino trout that was very interesting. Later Saturday night Spud and I were able to paint Zoe's toes for the first time ever and, of course she chose the same color as moms toes. Spud had one foot I had the other and Zoe sat perfectly still and would copy us blowing on her toes to dry them. Our weekend ended with an awesome Sunday spent together at church and then an afternoon of relaxing. I loved spending time with my family.

Memorial Day in Panguitch!!!!!

Our Memorial weekend was filled with a lot of adventure. We went to Panguitch to visit Spuds grandma, while there Zoe got to know her great grandma, visit the beautifully decorated cemetery lined with flags, kiss the headstone of grandpa great, a trip to the ER, learning about where my great grandma grew up and seeing the very first house they lived in, mowing the lawn with dad, and the best catching a 2 1/2 lb rainbow trout with dad and Grandpa Stan. What a weekend, needless to say we need a vacation from our vacation.

Well this is the Cunningham clan. This is my first family picture with all of my siblings except my oldest brother who slept in and his family and two of my sisters and their kids. But since my wedding day almost four years ago this is the most recent picture with all of us and our grown up lives. Meet Fish and Fishy!

On Saturday we took Zoe to the pet store and bought her two fish. They are sword fish but their tails are the swords. Spud asked Zoe what she wanted to name them and she said "fish" spud told her their were two and she needed to name the other one and she said "fishy." We are now the proud owners of fish and fishy, she loves to feed them and as you can see sit and stare at them (she would not leave them alone for the first hour). This last picture just goes to show you how much they love each other. I am sorry to say but that fish may be small but he sure looks like he wants Zoe for dinner.

Well hello everyone, I have decided that the month of March really sucks. First of all my stupid car is having issues and so we are without a car for who knows how long. And then just the stress of that has caused a lot of tension and major stress. I am now doing my Bachelors in medical science and if that is not stress enough. Zoe is really big and she talks a lot my new favorite is that she really enjoys building forts and just sitting in them. She is truly the light of my life. My Piggy Bank Experience

So every time Zoe hears money she runs up the stairs and sits on the floor and looks at her shelf where her piggy bank sits. Zoe will wait patiently for Spud to pull it down and put it right in between her legs. She then puts the money in all by herself as Spud hands her more. As you can see she rolls her piggy over to ensure herself that the money is going in and that we are not just playing a trick on her, Spud then takes it away and puts in back on the shelf to ensure that Zoe will not reach it and break it open (like she did her friends). And that my friends is the way Zoe banks her money.
